30 and 50 minute in-person, phone, or virtual counselling sessions are available for youth and adults. We also offer individual naturopathy sessions, acupuncture, and Vitamin B12 shots.

Individual Counselling

30 and 50 minute in-person, phone, or virtual counselling sessions. Youth (10+) and adults.

30 minutes — $85 · 50 minutes — $160

EMDR & Trauma Therapy

Our therapists are trained in various trauma-informed modalities including EMDR, DBT, and Polyvagal therapy to help clients process trauma and manage trauma-related symptoms.

Couples Therapy & Relationship Issues

Support for communication challenges, attachment concerns, boundaries, people-pleasing, and navigating difficult relationship experiences.

Couples therapy is offered by Lauren Mackintosh.

ADHD & ADD

Learn how to turn your hyperactive mind into your superpower by learning skills that help you succeed.

Naturopathy & Acupuncture

Individual Naturopathy sessions with Dr. Gina Brown are available for all ages. Acupuncture and Vitamin B12 shots are also offered.

Initial assessment — $200 · Follow-up — $125

Perinatal Therapy

Support through pregnancy, postpartum, birth-related anxiety and trauma, and the emotional changes that can come with becoming a parent.

Self-Esteem & Body Image

Support for building self-worth, developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself, and exploring the thoughts and experiences that shape confidence and body image.

Anger Management

Learn to better understand anger and emotional triggers, regulate intense emotions, and develop healthier coping strategies for difficult or stressful situations.

Depression & Anxiety

Support for navigating depression, anxiety, overwhelm, and difficult emotions while developing practical strategies to improve emotional regulation, coping, and overall wellbeing.

Children & Adolescents

Some of our therapists can see patients as young as seven years old. 

BPD & Mood Disorders

Support for Borderline Personality Disorder, mood disorders, emotional regulation, and related challenges using compassionate, trauma-informed approaches tailored to each client’s needs.

Where are you located?

Our in-person clinic is located at 25 Wentworth Street, Unit 102, downtown Dartmouth. It is close to bus routes and the ferry terminal.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes, we offer virtual support to clients across Nova Scotia. We use secure, compliant software.

What are your rates for therapy?

30 minute sessions are $85.00 and 50 minute sessions are $160.00. Naturopathy rates are $200.00 for an initial assessment and $125.00 for a follow-up.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a minimum of 24 hours prior to cancellation.

Do you accept insurance? Offer direct billing?

Many insurance plans cover counselling and naturopathy services; however, we do not currently offer direct billing. Clients pay at the time of their session and receive a receipt to submit to their insurer for reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend confirming your eligibility with your insurance provider before booking.

Is your office wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, the office is not wheelchair accessible.

Do you offer evening sessions?

Yes, our therapists offer flexible hours including most evenings.

What is the youngest age you see?

We can treat individuals as young as 7 years old.
